Free Initial Telephone Consultation Available

Research shows the relationship between you and your therapist has the biggest impact on the effectiveness of your therapy.

If you would feel more comfortable talking with me first to ensure that it’s a good “fit” before making an appointment, I offer a free 20-minute telephone consultation. Contact me to inquire about this option.

Teletherapy 

I utilize the HIPAA-compliant Doxy medium.

In-Person

I see clients in person at a conveniently located office near downtown Winchester, VA.

Payment

RATES

The self-pay rate for a 50-minute individual session is $150.  

How often your sessions occur will be determined by both of us.  

INSURANCE/Payment

I accept Kaiser, Medicare, Aetna, and Cigna. You will need to be responsible for contacting them regarding any copays and/or deductibles.

Clients pay at the time of the session. If you have out-of-network mental health benefits and want to use these to seek reimbursement, I will provide you with the necessary documentation so you can submit it to your insurance provider. There is no guarantee of reimbursement from them.

FORMS OF SELF PAYMENT

Payment is required at the time of your appointment.   I prefer Venmo over credit card if you have an account. However, you may wish to use your Health Savings Account or PayPal. I use Ivy Pay to process credit cards.

CANCELLATION POLICY

My time and yours are precious, so I appreciate your respect. I am completely self-employed as well. Due to this, I require a 24-hour notice of cancellation.  If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, you will be charged $50. If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled session start time, I assess a $25 late cancellation fee.
